Devops culture

Devops, under Amazon point of view, "is about removing the barriers between two traditionally siloed teams, development and operations". It wants to express the need of considering Devops as a figure inside the company and set it as a company culture. As an employee, no matter which department he belongs to, he collaborate with the devops culture if he has the capacity of improving the following parts of the project:

  • fast delivery: he is able to reduce time to production from development phase.

  • reliability: Ensures quality of application updates and changes on infrastructure

  • Escalation: Foresees future needs of the project

  • Collaboration: Treats together different departments to ensure proper coordination
